Hello,

I am currently in the product research phase.

A potential supplier has told me another person has had a patent issue from the biggest seller in this niche.

I’ve put their company name into patent search on HMRC and google patent, I can’t find anything to suggest they actually do have a patent.

is there anything else I can try? I plan to add my own logo and change colour but there is still similarities in the style

Also, you can commission someone on Fiverr to see what they can find.

If there is already evidence of an existing seller being difficult (whether rightly or wrong), it might be easier to move on to a different niche.
