Video and A+ Content

I'm in contact with a professional photographer for my first product. I've asked for pictures (some with infographics) and a lifestyle video.

I've been quoted £590. Does that seem a bit steep?

Secondly, as I'm going to use A+ content can I add a video to this or not? I don't want to be spending money on a lifestyle video if I cant use it.
 
These types of costs can vary quite a bit depending on the exact brief so it's hard to say for sure.

The most important thing to look at is their portfolio of existing product photography.

If they are amazing £590 is cheap, if they are average then £590 is expensive 😅

They aren't uploaded by A+ content, instead they are managed via "Catalogue" > "Upload Manage and Videos".

I use the same video for PPC and the product listing so I would make sure the photographer has a basic script to work with.

I usually get them to record 5 or 6 scenes, each around 5 seconds long, promoting each of the key features/benefits that the product has with overlay text on each scene to clearly communicate that feature/benefit to the customer.

When you say about using the video for PPC, is that the video that features on the initial search page on Amazon? I've noticed some listings have this video and it really makes the product stand out!

That is at lower end of the going rate. I spent £700 for 1 day shoot (no video) that was only 4 hours the results were not impressive. I bought a Canon M50 camera and a light box. I take the photo in raw format and get someone on fiver to do the editing and colour correction, that works well. You can only place videos on the product photos section not the A+ section unless you have enhanced A+ and you need to have created 5 A+ products before you get the enhanced A+ format.
